Legality Issues You Face As A Webmaster

I don't mean to scare any aspiring webmaster, but there are things you need to know so you don't get in trouble. Designing web sites can be very fun, but there are those areas that some people cross into either without knowing it is wrong or not caring.

Copyright infringement violations can come in many forms. Quite often, you might see aspiring webmasters borrow images and music and add it to their site thinking it looks so cool, but many times they did not get permission to use any of it and a real hard nosed person could easily come by and demand they take it down or sue them.

Another thing that can cause a nightmare is by offending someone either deliberately or by slight. Think carefully about how your site might be viewed and accessed by others. Granted, some people may just want to have the most offensive site in the world and there will always be an audience for that kind of site. However, if you want to play it safe and don't have the head for constant confrontation, think before you put it out there.
